London, 10th March, 2020 -- Cafeyn, the popular European information streaming service, today announces it has been accredited by ABC; the leading industry-owned auditor for the media industry in the UK. ABC verifies and releases data for the UK media industry to use when trading across a variety of media, including UK national newspapers and magazines, across both print and digital.
ABC has accredited Cafeyn under the ABC Newspaper and Magazine Reporting Standard covering four categories: Paid Single Copies (Digital Editions) ; Paid Subscriptions ; Individual All You Can Read Sales (Digital Editions) and ; Multiple Copy Business Sales (Digital Editions). This means any title read on Cafeyn can be claimed by UK publishers on their ABC circulation figures, regardless of whether the user buys and reads a single copy on the platform, reads the title in their paid monthly Cafeyn subscription, or is an O2 customer who gets access to Cafeyn through their mobile contract.
Jan Pitt, Commercial Director at ABC, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Cafeyn as a Certified Supplier following successful completion of our audit process. This achievement demonstrates Cafeyn’s commitment to working to industry agreed standards on behalf of its publishing clients.”
Ari Assuied, CEO of Cafeyn, said: “We are thrilled to be ABC accredited for our information streaming service, reflecting our commitment to the UK industry. Digital circulation is increasingly important to our publishers and we are pleased Cafeyn can contribute to ABC figures and therefore their advertising business.’
Cafeyn can be downloaded from the Apple or Google Play Stores and is accessible via mobile, tablet or computer. Subscribers can try one month for 99p and then the unlimited subscription costs £7.99 per month. There is no minimum subscription period and users can cancel at any time. Eligible O2 mobile users can also access Cafeyn as a perk included for 3 or 6 months included as part of their mobile phone contract, depending on their contract.
